Zoji La is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 3528m 11575ft above the sea level located in the Kargil district of Ladakh in India. Zojila pass is situated at an altitude of 11578 feet on Srinagar-Kargil-Leh National Highway which remains closed during winters. The tunnel along with 65 km long Z-Morh Tunnel will ensure year-long road connectivity between Srinagar and Kargil which currently remains closed for about seven months due to heavy snowfall on the Zoji La.
